Hello Dave,

Offhand, I can't think of any reason why 0.9.1.2 would work for you and
0.11.2 would not.

I gather that 0.9.1.2 is working fine and the problems started when you
replaced it with 0.11.2. Is that correct? Can you still run 0.9.1.2? Are
you running on a linux/intel system? If not, what are you using.

Can you run from the command line? What directory has the wordlists? Are
the permissions proper?

My /etc/procmailrc has:

BOGOFILTER_DIR=/var/lib/bogofilter

:0fw
| bogofilter -p -u -l -e -v

As you know, bogofilter uses an environment variable to find its
wordlists. It checks for BOGOFILTER_DIR and then HOME. Depending on which
it finds, it uses $BOGOFILTER_DIR or $HOME/.bogofilter as the directory.

For monitoring purposes, my /etc/procmailrc includes the following:

VERBOSE=yes
LOGABSTRACT=yes
LOGFILE=/var/lib/procmail

and I run "tail /var/log/procmail" to monitor what's going on.

Have you tried "cat message | procmail"? If I recall, that should be
comparable to having your MTA running procmail.

Hope this helps!
