Dan,

-u is already used and means update.  If '-u' is specified, after 
classifying a message as spam, bogofilter will add the words to the spam 
wordlist.  If the messag is not spam, bogofilter will update the goodlist.

'-U' has been suggested as a modifier to '-S' and '-N', so '-SU' would 
unregister spam and '-NU' would unregister ham.
