According to my mailutil(1) manual page, the mbxcvt has been replaced by
a multi-functional "mailutil" ("mailutil transfer" or "mailutil copy" or
something).

To convert a mbx file to traditional mailbox format, I'd type:

mailutil copy /full/path/to/some.mbx '#driver.unix//full/path/to/some.mbox'
