rc3 feedback wanted

Greetings,

I've not seen much feedback on 0.8.0-rc3.  How is rc3 working for people on 
linux, hp-ux, freebad, ...??

I know about the two problems reported on solaris.  Can anyone tell me if 
0.7.6 worked better on solaris than 0.8.0?

Our planned release policy is to correct any regressions before going 
gold.  This means a delay in the release of 0.8.0, which I don't like.  Do 
y'all think we should promote rc3 to 0.8.0 (released), or wait?
