I just spent the morning trying to decide between bdb and sqlite.
Although I have heard that bdb is faster and saw that the bdb file was
smaller than the sqlite one on my mail corpus (21MB vs. 33MB), I am
going with sqlite because the speed difference was not visible to me
and the maintenance of sqlite across upgrades looks to be
significantly easier.
