0.16.x and "make check"

Greetings,

It's just been noticed that bogofilter reads its config file before
processing the "-V" (version) command line option. With all the config
file options that have been deprecated in bogofilter 0.16, reading the
config file can cause a number of warning messages to be printed.
Though they're ugly, the messages don't affect bogofilter's scoring of
messages. However, thy do cause "make check" to fail for all its tests.
If you have a problem with "make check", run "bogofilter -V" and look
for warning messages. Correct them, and try again.

David
