Bogofilter with multiple user and __db* problem

You cannot. If you could, any user could then lock or spoil somebody
else's database, and one man's spam is another one's ham, hence
individual databases are sensible.

You can try reducing the default cache size /etc/bogofilter.cf, which
will cut the size of the largest (5 MB usually) file.
