Did you perchance use --prefix=/usr as well? If so, then this is
expected behaviour. automake doesn't have any magic to draw a "share"
sublevel for its man dir in.
You can also use the source RPM to build bogofilter and install that, it
should figure the proper paths from your RPM installation.

Greetings,
I am a software developer, currently the lead developer of bogofilter,
which is a fast, trainable, bayesian spam filter. If you're interested,
the project home page is at
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/bogofilter. The user and developer
mailing list are at aotto.com which is hosted on sfo.drudgereport.com.
Today I encountered a problem. Before I describe it, let me give you some
background information...
Until yesterday I was a DSL customer of DirecTV's. As you likely know,
they are discontinuing their ISP business. I have
switched to DigitalRealm.net, a local covad reseller. I now have address
block 216.144.204.40/29 assigned to my domain (osagesoftware.com).
The DSL provider switch happened last night. This morning I sent a message
to the mailing list and was very surprised to have it bounce because my new
ip address is blacklisted. Evidently drudgereport.com uses
blackholes.intersil.net as an rbl. Running a query at rbls.org, shows my
new address block gets a 127.0.0.2 listing from blackholes.intersil.net.
I am not a spammer and never have been. As mentioned above, I am active in
the fight against spam. I have just had my mail server tested by ordb.org
and they report "The server explicitly rejected all probes, and has been
deemed secure by the ORDB testing engine."
Can you please whitelist my domain's address block for your servers? Once
again the domain is osagesoftware.com and the address block is
216.144.204.40/29
Thank you.
Sincerely yours,
David Relson
