With the addition of mime processing, the version number is due for an
increase. 0.9.1.2 is getting a bit old (nearly a whole month) and we
certainly have newer and better and more capable code.
What comes after 0.9.1.2? The two prime candidates are 0.9.2 and 1.0.0.
Regarding algorithms, I think tuning will continue for a long time. I've
been using Fisher since 0.9.1.2 was released and I'm very pleased with
it. I wouldn't mind making it the default.
