Matthias,

My main goal for release 1.0 is to have a working, stable version.  It'd be 
good to have the additional features, but I don't see them as necessary for 
1.0.  If we have them for 0.11, then they'll be in 1.0.  If we don't have 
them until 1.0 is released, then the features can be in 1.1.
