What I do is subscribe to mailing lists with addresses like
"cwilkes-bf at ladro.com" which qmail delivers per instructions in my
.qmail-bf file.

With seperate instructions you can either
a) not to any spam checking
b) use a different wordlist than your other email addresses
c) more easily filter into folders different mailing lists

Postfix allows for extensions as this (although I think that's an option
you have to turn on).  Not sure about sendmail.
