POSIX man pages now part of Linux man-pages distribution

Hi,

I have just found out, to my pleasure, that Andries E. Brouwer has
obtained permission to re-print POSIX manual pages and added them to
man-pages-1.65, which is available from any kernel mirror, at

ftp://ftpN.XX.kernel.org/pub/linux/docs/manpages/
where N is either non-existant or a natural number 2, 3, ...
and XX is the ISO 2-letter country code (ftp3.de.kernel.org for instance)

To install, just type "make allbz2" or "make allgz" and adjust your man
page configuration to give precedence to POSIX man pages, or remember to
type the POSIX section, for instance, "man 1p cp" or something. Note
this goes behind RPM's back, so you'll no longer be able to "rpm -V
manpages" or what it's called on your system.

The 0p section (new) documents header files, given by their full name,
for instance "man inttypes.h".

Hope you find this useful :-)
