RPM build failure on Fedora

I'm attempting to build an athlon-optimized rpm of 0.15.11 and it
consistently fails with this error:

 

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

 

I'm running an up to date installation of Fedora Core 1, with db4 and
db4-devel installed. I combed the archives and tried everything that seemed
even remotely applicable to no avail. Could someone please shed some light
on this for me?
