better mutt macros?

I completely agree.  My mutt macros are still using the 0.6 file format
and I haven't upgraded to 0.7 because of the lack of conversion
utilities.  I think that the old text-only format should always be
supported as it is a universal format that can be easily converted into
whatever the current format is.
