Project direction and individual preferences

I am hoping in the relatively near future I will be able to replace
spamassassin with bogofilter on my mailserver. Is the project headed in
the direction that it will be viable on a mailserver, and hopefully allow
for individual account spam preference lists? I would like to offer my
users a way to seed their lists with spam I have collected but also allow
them to further  develop their own personal view of what is spam.
