In my case;

   $  bogofilter -n -vv < mark/japan/10
   # 686 words, 1 messag

   $ bogofilter -B -n -vv < mark/japan/10
   # 0 words, 0 message

> Claws doesn't write an X-Bogosity header back to incoming mails for
> some mailbox formats, this is something to do with them being in memory

You might need to check your Claws Mail settings or consider to use a
different method to test the message.
