I don't run firejail (perhaps I should), but here's the ls -l
-rw-rw-rw- 1 adrian adrian 31854592 Feb 17 12:35 wordlist.db
and of the parent
drwx------ 2 adrian adrian 4096 Feb 17 12:47 .bogofilter

When I mark something as ham or spam, either in Claws, or using e.g.
$ bogofilter -s -B /path/to/INBOX/69050
The access modify and change timestamps update, but the db is unchanged.
$ bogofilter -s -v -B /path/to/INBOX/69050 gives
# 0 words, 0 messages
$ file wordlist.db gives
wordlist.db: Berkeley DB (Btree, version 9, native byte-order)
and the bogofilter packages installed are
ii bogofilter 1.2.5-1build4
amd64 fast Bayesian spam filter (meta package)
ii bogofilter-bdb 1.2.5-1build4
amd64 fast Bayesian spam filter (Berkeley DB)
ii bogofilter-common 1.2.5-1build4

ii evolution-plugin-bogofilter 3.52.3-0ubuntu1

(bogofilter)
Thanks once again, Adrian
