Bogofilter with Claws Mail, seems not to act on spam

I'm not sure.  I used to see 'bogofilter' flash by on the bottom bar
but I haven't noticed that since long before my forced major upgrade.
I did before the upgrade see messages in Trash that were marked as
spam, and not by me.

I think I haven't seen that happen since the upgrade.  But I have
manually added a filter rule to move the worst and most frequent
offenders to Trash, which may bypass bogofiltering.  And there have
been very few other spams lately.

I've disabled those manual filters and will see if new spams get picked
up.

How?  Do you mean in Claws or on the command line?  Claws has a "Filter
selected messages" under Tools but it applies the manual rules, don't
know about bogofilter.

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, my original question was about using
bogofilter commands.
