bogotune bugs?

This is due to a failure in the initial calculation of x, which is
where the directory identification fails, I think (remember the wonky
order of status printouts).  You and I fixed errors producing the same
symptoms some few releases back; I only keep penultimate and current
versions so I don't know which one worked. (For the last few versions
I've only been testing bogofilter, not bogotune, at install time --
naughty me.)

By "confirmed" I meant I get the same errors Jason does.  And using a
terminal slash in the -d option makes no difference, v.i.

So the initial x value is wrong, the program does not abort and life
goes on but wrongly:
