db log auto remove still working?

I noticed that starting in 0.94.0, as per a note in the NEWS file, db
log files were being automatically removed. Since 0.94.3 I see the log
files persist on my system.

I changed nothing in my .cf file or command lines. I just noticed at one
point they were automatically deleted and now they aren't. I can easily
re-add --db-prune to my daily startup, but thought I would mention this.
