A bit more info.
Inside the .bogofilter directory, it leaves these files hanging around;
ls -a .bogofilter/
__db.001
__db.002
__db.003
__db.004
__db.005
log.0000000001
log.0000000002
log.0000000003
lockfile-d
lockfile-p
If I remove them, then that error message does not appear.
