New report on spam filters

Hey all,
You've all probably seen this already, but just in case:


 Slashdot has a posting about a new report analyzing different spam
filters.  Bogo did very well, coming in second to SA (at least 
thats the way I read it.)

The report in in pdf and ps format available at :

Unfortunately the report does not have any solid conclusions in it
and therefore will require careful reading to pull out useful info.

The report is 31 "real" pages long, and written in academic style.

My view is that the scores between SA and Bogo are so close that the
extra cost of the slowness of SA make Bogo the better choice between
the two for any high email volume site. (FWIW)
