I still suggest it would be better not to do this, and I don't approve
(as the warning makes clear; thank you, Jason).  That said, I don't
plan to go off into the desert and sulk if David decides to bow to
the masses and accept the patch (though I shall certainly add its
reversion to my personal patchkit). ;-)
