Greetings,

It's been a tad over two years since Paul Graham wrote the seminal
article introducing the subject of bayesian spam filters.  I learned of
it through Slashdot.  A day or two later, I learned of Eric Raymond's
effort through the posting below.  I downloaded bogofilter-0.2 and two
days later contributed my first patch.  A lot has happened since then,
most notably the successful labeling of "X-Bogosity: Spam" to millions
of messages.
