database corruption

One more thing that needs to be in the instructions for repairing the
databases, though it may not matter for most folks: check the permissions
on the newly-created database(s) (owner/group/rights). I forgot this
for a couple of minutes. (Attempts to deliver mail were getting messages
from bogofilter saying that goodlist.db exists - don't have exact text.)
Quickly fixed in this case because I checked quickly.

Sanjay,
Sounds like you're ready to rock and roll.
I can understand your reluctance to dive into autoconf, etc. It isn't fun.
I'd recommend that future communications use the bogofilter users mailing
list (bogofilter at aotto.com) or the developers list
(bogofilter-dev at aotto.com). The mailing lists are read by more people and
are easier (for me) to use.
Cheers!
David
