this is what i have in ~/.procmailrc, borrowed from the FAQ:

  BOGOFILTER     = "/usr/bin/bogofilter"
  BOGOFILTER_DIR = "training"
  SPAMASSASSIN  = "/usr/bin/spamassassin"

  :0
  * ? $SPAMASSASSIN -e
  #spam yields non-zero
  #non-spam yields zero
  | $BOGOFILTER -n -d $BOGOFILTER_DIR
  #else (E)
  :0Ec
  | $BOGOFILTER -s -d $BOGOFILTER_DIR

  :0fw
  | $BOGOFILTER -p -e

  :0:
  * ^X-Bogosity:.Yes
  junk

#  :0:
#  * ^X-Bogosity:.No
#  non-spam

I commented out the last line because there is a problem here: i do not want all incoming mail that is not spam to go into a mailbox called non-spam. i actually have a long list of other filters i use for mailing lists, etc. i would somehow like the messages that are not junk to get processed normally.

i commented out the last line hoping that that is what would happen, but instead it deleted incoming mail that was not spam (or at least it lost it somewhere. actually the procmail.log shows that it was placing a lock on my junk folder but the message did not appear there.)
