I can think of two ways to create a chance to get what you want:

1) Educate me on the MH format, the existence of which is all I know
about it, and if it doesn't look too hard I'll give it a try.

2) Modify bogotune to handle MH format as an alternative to mbox and,
by way of helping others who might need the same, please send me a patch
(patches that break mbox support will go straight to /dev/null, though).

The former will be slower; the latter, more work for you.  Your call :)
