pi,
In bogofilter/tuning are versions of Greg's scripts that I've modified to
fit the standard bogofilter executables (rather than the somewhat
customized ones that he uses) and to make friendlier. At the moment, I'm
revising them so that they will "just run" if they're in a directory with
the needed executables and mailboxes. 'Tis a good thing I'm doing this, as
I've found a couple of errors in them.
Part of what the smindev.sh script does is cycle through a variety of robs
and min_dev values. For each value pair, a spam_cutoff is determined and
messages are scored with that spam_cutoff. At the end a summary of the 10
best combos (of robs, min_dev, and spam_cutoff) is printed and you can
choose the one that looks best to you.
The scripts are available if you want them.
