Good work.  What you have appears right.  As I patch the code, I'll check 
it more thoroughly.

I had taken a quick look at the db_open() code and saw the code to set the 
is_swapped flag.  I hadn't looked far enough to see that bogoutil used a 
different mechanism for getting data.  Of course you were more motivated 
than I.  Thanks for doing it.

I should have the patches in cvs in a little while, though they'll be in 
the mime branch (which is where efforts are currently focused).  Feel free 
to update and build from the cvs repository.
