Given his lack of involvement I don't feel the need.

If you wish to dig out any of the old TODO-before-1.0 posts, we can look
at them.  Right now, all that's on my list is our two step clean-up -
(1) deprecate and (2) remove.  Other than that, we've got a nice, solid,
useful program.  Additional items can wait for 1.1.
