'Tis good you're up and running.  I was running out of ideas.  It seems 
like time to expand the FAQ :-)

It'd be useful to know _exactly_ what you've got.  Can you run the 
following and let me know what you get?

ls -l /usr/lib/libdb* /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib/*
grep /usr /etc/ld.so.conf
set | egrep "(LD|PATH)"

If there are other details or things that are relevant, mention them too!
