bogofilter: must get only one message to calculate spamicity!

This error has been showing up in my procmail log for certain spams:

bogofilter: must get only one message to calculate spamicity!

Is the mail just misformatted?

I'm using the .procmailrc from the man page:

| bogofilter -u -e -p

* ^X-Bogosity: Yes, tests=bogofilter
spam

The delivery failure puts the message back in the queue...
