wordlist.db

Up thru 0.92.8, the wordlist (database) was a single file and could be
backed up by

    cp wordlist.db wordlist.db.new
or bogoutil -d wordlist.db >wordlist.txt

With the release of 0.93.0, the wordlist is part of a database
environment, i.e. a directory with multiple files, notably wordlist.db,
__db.00?, DB_CONFIG, and logfile.00*. Using 'cp' is no longer
sufficient -- at the very least because the database needs to be copied
a page at a time to preserve its integrity. The order for copying
logfiles and database file is also important. A group of helper scripts
and bogoutil options have been added to assist in tasks like copying,
compacting, resizing, etc. The early ones are on SourceForge, while the
newest ones are only in CVS. The release of 0.93.2 is planned for this
weekend (likely Saturday) and will include them all.

HTH,

David
