I'm not sure that downgrading is a good idea.  Did you get the message
that David sent about the FAQ and README.db?

I think README.db has become more complete and accurate since the
release though.

Perhaps when bogofilter dies due to a lock limit, it could suggest an
appropriate value for the user to try.
