I've given the patch a quick test drive and it works fine here in Michigan.

I just have to be careful to "rm src/datastore_db.o" between rebuilds as I 
switch back and forth between db3 and db4.  When I don't recompile that 
module, bogofilter reeminds me - by complaining and generating a core dump.

Thanks for adding the patch to cvs.
