I would change 'an -x' to 'a -x', 'man page' to 'manpage', and 'data
base' to 'database'.

I enabled 'make check' during build for Debian, as suggested by Baruch.
t.integrity was changed not to use uudecode.

I'm actually surprised by the number of failures, which you can see at
http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=&pkg=bogofilter ,
for the entries versioned 0.7.5+1025cvs-2 .  At this time, there have
been successes for alpha, sparc, hppa, i386; and failures for
ia64, s390, and powerpc.  The other architectures haven't reported
results yet.

On ia64, there are casting size warnings in lexer.l.  On s390, there's a
signed/unsigned char problem.  The same is true on powerpc, and if
memory serves, will be true of ARM as well.
