As a bug fix, your change qualifies for inclusion in 0.7.6.  I have just 
applied your patch to my 0.7.6 and cvs trees and have updated both 
repositories.

I'll be building new tarballs and rpms tomorrow, though it may not be till 
afternoon (EST5EDT).
