Please excuse my interference... ;-)

I needed to do some fixes so "make check" works on FreeBSD now
(Solaris is not yet there) and did some documentation fixes, and 0.7.6.1
is available as source tarball, RPM for i386 SUSE Linux 7.3 or 8.1 or
FreeBSD 4.7 i386 package.

I also merged the fixes that went into the branch up to 0.7.6.1 back to
the main trunk, and bumped the version to 0.7.6.cvs.
