thx for clear answer... this is the first clear explanation I've seen

I'm sure it is in the manual as you point out.  Sometimes pounding
thru a manual is a bit off-putting.

It might be wise to include that info in one of INSTALL,  README or
Realease.notes.  There may be something about it in one of those but a
grep with `wordlist' fails on all.
