Here is the trick to do checks like these:

Before upgrading, take a list of mails (can be spam and ham mixed, indeed
you should have both, no matter if one file or more).

Use bogofilter -Mv on each of those files and save the output.

Upgrade.

Check the same files again. There should be only very minor differences
(could be due to lexer changes).
