What is bogofilter (the text is not all the satisfying)?

Actually, the FAQ is in the first thrid not different from
what I would expect (even more elaborated) on the home page.

Link to esr's home page is not really useful, it redirects
arbitrarily to some sites.

Project page is more important.

I never understood what :Perl Foundry has to do with it or
is good for.
